and Evaluation clients are expected to pay the full fee at the initial session.
Level
II, 16
hour DUI & alcohol/drug education program. Cost $85.00 or two payments split of $50.00 and $45.00. Out of state $10.00 per
hour. This program meets 2 Saturdays a month in a classroom setting
and is appropriate for some first time offenders or those
who do not fit the criteria for dependency or abuse. This class may also be taken for self-improvement

effects of alcohol/drugs
- Effects
of alcohol / drugs on driving.
- Psychological
and sociological consequences of use and abuse of alcohol/drugs.
- Alcohol
content, its calculation and effects on driving performance.
- Current
DUI laws and possible penalties.
- Community
resources and interventions.
- Review
of treatment approaches and various programs.
- Self-assessment
of alcohol/drug use.
- Alternatives
to drinking alcohol / using other drugs and driving
- Stages
of substance abuse

Level 1,
DUI programs and Outpatient treatment. Group sessions are held three times a week and include the
Level II topics, as mentioned above. Our clients explore,
in a therapeutic group setting, how their use of alcohol/legal
and illegal drugs have negatively impacted them and those
around them. This will be accomplished through discussions,
videos, handouts, written and verbal assignments designed
to encourage clients to examine their individual issues. Clients
will be given practical information and caring guidance that
can help them make necessary changes in attitude and behavior
thereby improving family and personal relationships, recreational
activities, employment / legal status. Clients will also receive
guidance and information regarding stress relief, anger management,
communication skills, decision-making skills and improving
self-esteem.
- 36
Hours - This program is for someone in the early stages of
substance abuse, has experienced few alcohol/drug-related
issues or problems.
- 54
Hours - This program is for someone in the early to middle
stages of substance abuse/dependence. This person is experiencing
some family, work, school, employment or legal problems.
- 72
Hour -This program is for someone in the late stages of
substance abuse or dependence. This person HAS BEEN experiencing problems in all life areas. Some examples are:
- Problems
getting along with family / friends.
- Multiple
DUIs or other illegal activities.
- Can't
keep a job or work/school performance is suffering.
- Has
experienced physical problems such has blackouts, shakes,
memory lapses or passing out.
- This
person usually denies that their use of alcohol or other
drugs is a problem.
- Personality
changes associated with use of alcohol/drugs.
- Increase
in the use of alcohol/drugs.
- Failed
attempts to quit or cut back use of alcohol/drugs.
- Continued
use of alcohol/other drugs in spite of the negative
consequences.
Treatment
program clients are expected to pay $40.00 at intake,
this fee is deducted from the initial costs of treatment providing
the client follows through with the treatment. The remaining
balance can be paid through weekly payments. Clients need
to have their accounts paid in full by the end of treatment.
Motor
Vehicle Department driver's reinstatement packet. Cost
is $100.00. Out of state higher.
It takes
at least one hour to complete the Substance Abuse Evaluation.
Clients will complete at least two written and standardized
tests as well as complete an Interview with a Licensed
Substance Abuse Counselor.
All treatment programs include one year FREE aftercare
providing the client starts aftercare within thirty days of
completion of a treatment program and documentation will not
be required, otherwise there is a $10.00 fee per group. There is
an administration fee assessed for a client's failure to keep
scheduled appointments, failure to attend scheduled education
classes or treatment groups. Exceptions are made for documented medical emergencies.
